Booking and contract

Sending the booking form is a request, not a confirmed booking. The estimate you see on the form is a guide; your final price is the one in your contract.

Before you can use the venue, you sign a contract and a venue rental agreement, complete any forms we send, and pay the deposits due. Nothing is agreed by word of mouth.

The villa is rented for events only. Overnight stays and room bookings are not available.

Deposit and balance

• A 50% deposit holds your date. The deposit cannot be transferred to another person.
• The balance is due 30 days before your event.
• If you book within 30 days of the date, the full amount is due at booking.

Damage deposit

A refundable damage deposit is collected with your balance and returned after the event if nothing is damaged or missing.

How to pay

Pay by wire, bank transfer or Zelle. Midweek dates can also be paid by check. Card payments add a 3% service fee.

Cancelling or moving a date

What you get back depends on how far ahead you tell us.

Event hours and set-up

• Events can start from 10 a.m. They end by 11 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and by 10 p.m. on Sundays.
• You book an event of up to 5 hours, or a full day of up to 10 hours.
• Set-up runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Most packages include 2 hours of set-up, from 11 a.m. Extra set-up hours are $75 each. Diamond Elite includes all 4 hours.
• The villa opens at 9 a.m. If your event starts before 1 p.m., your set-up time is the time between 9 a.m. and your start.
• After your event ends you have 1 quiet hour to pack up and leave: no music, loading only. Larger items can be collected the next morning between 9 and 10 a.m., by arrangement.
• A set-up crew or a teardown crew can be added for $100 to $200 each by package, or both together for $150 to $350. The crew handles villa furniture and rental items; your own decorations are yours to put up and take down.
• Cleaning after your event is $100 to $300 by package. Full-day events add $50.
• Rehearsals are free and can be booked up to two months before your event. They are for practising the ceremony with your officiant, so no food or drink.

Security and guest numbers

The villa holds up to 100 guests. Each package has its own guest limit, shown on the Events page.

Security is provided by the villa and is required for 60 or more guests. The fee is $125 for events of up to 5 hours and $300 for a full day. There are cameras outside the villa.

Venue rules

• You cannot charge guests to enter an event at the villa. This applies to every event, including milestone birthdays.
• Bring your own caterer or choose one from our list.
• Rental items and add-ons are charged at the prices shown on the booking form.
• You are responsible for damage or missing items caused by your guests and vendors. The cost is taken from your damage deposit.

Military families

• Military families get 10% off the exclusive rental. The 3% card fee still applies to deposits and balances paid by card.
• If you are deployed, show official papers at least three months before your date and we will move it, earlier or later, to any day within two years.
• If the active-duty person dies, everything paid is refunded in full on presentation of official papers.

Using this website

Prices and details on this website can change. The price in your signed contract is the one that applies to your event.
